IMPORTANT INFO

FRAGRANCE

NOTES

There are three notes that in perfect combination are what make a fragrance lasting and appealing.

Top note: This is the initial impression the fragrance oil makes when you first smell a candle or remove the lid. It is the most volatile, meaning it will evaporate the quickest.

Middle Note: The middle note is the “heart” of the fragrance. It can take 10 to 20 minutes for the middle notes to fully develop. When you are burning a candle, the middle notes are the most prominent.

Base Note (also called the 'dry down'): The base notes are what give a candle lasting qualities. It is the scent that lingers even after the candle is extinguished.

CAUTION -

CANDLES

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn on or near flammable, porous or heat sensitive surfaces. Always burn on a suitable candle plate. Never move while burning. Do not place on or near electrical appliances. Keep away from external heat sources. Do not burn for longer than 3 hours. Keep wick trimmed to 6mm. Keep out of draughts. Do not allow the flame to burn against the jar. Stop use once wax is 1cm from the bottom.

CARE -

*Allow candle to burn until the wax has melted to the sides of the jar before distinguishing

CARE -

WAX MELTS

*Place 1-2 melts onto the top of your melts burner

*Light a tealight candle and place underneath the melts in the designated tealight holder

*Add additional melts once wax level has almost evaporated

*Do not add water or anything else to your melts

DISCOLOURATION +

FROSTING

We use 100% natural soy wax in all our candles which is generally white in colour. However some fragrance oils contain vanillin which can cause the colour of the wax to discolour. Please be assured that there is nothing wrong with the candle and they are not "expired" or "off".

All of our candles are hand poured in Adelaide. Factors such as weather, room temperature, melting points and even how fast or slow we pour the candles can sometimes create a slightly uneven top surface or even frosting (looks like a cluster of snow). These will not effect the logevity or fragrance of your candles.
